Workgroup Membership
Membership in an Acorn Workgroup is selective. Candidates complete an application, and the Acorn Workgroup Team carefully selects individuals to create a well-balanced, successful group. Before applying, it’s important to understand the commitment:
- Meetings occur twice per month for 90 minutes via Zoom, starting in April 2025. The initial commitment runs from April to December 2025 (9 months), with the option to continue in 2026 by mutual agreement.
- Sessions involve “high-touch” activities that require privacy and a distraction-free environment. Participants should plan accordingly to ensure
they can fully engage while managing their work responsibilities. - Members are expected to contribute with honesty and vulnerability while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- A growth mindset is encouraged, participants should be open to learning, improving their leadership skills, and developing professionally.
Workgroup Cost and Commitment
- The cost for participating in a Workgroup is $3,600 for 2025 and can be paid monthly at $400 a month or as one-time payment.
- The initial commitment period spans from April to December 2025. After this period, there is an option to renew your membership for the calendar year 2026, contingent upon mutual agreement between you and the Acorn Workgroup Team.
- It is expected that, as much as reasonably possible, all workgroup participants will attend every scheduled meeting. This commitment to attendance is crucial for maximizing the benefits of the program and fostering a collaborative environment. Regular attendance ensures that all participants are well-informed and prepared to engage fully in the workgroup activities
