CAP Data Camp Registration

February 4 & 5, 2026

  • This is a two day training on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am - 12:30 PM (Mountain Time) via Zoom 

Important CAP Data Camp Information:

  • Provided to you at no cost by Community Action Partnership of Utah,  with support from the Region VIII RPIC.
  • Community Action staff and board members through Region VIII are welcome to join. 
  • Registration, via the form below, is required.
  • Sessions are offered via Zoom (make sure you have access to Zoom).
  • Class information and Zoom link will be sent via email prior to the start date.
  • Attendees are expected to attend both days, February 4 & 5
  • Sessions run from 10:00am - 12:30 PM (Mountain Time).
  • We ask that you arrive 5 minutes early each day so we can start right on time.
  • Each learner should attend the Zoom sessions at their own workstation, individually.
  • Classes are interactive so be prepared to participate with your camera on. 
  • CEUs (0.5) awarded upon successful completion.

This event is a revised and updated version of the CAP Data Camp we previously offered in 2024. If you participated in the 2024 events, be aware that some of the content is the same. Want a refresher? Of course, you are welcome to participate again.

Why Attend CAP Data Camp?

CAP Data Camp is a free, 2-day, 5-hour professional development opportunity offered by CAP Utah with support from the Region VIII RPIC, in partnership with Acorn Learning. Acorn Learning delivers high-quality professional development for CAP, Head Start, and Early Head Start leaders and staff through engaging trainings and learning events nationwide.

CAP Data Camp provides:

  • Definitions of data that help immediately improve the data culture in your program, that you can use right away with your staff and stakeholders.
  • Clarity with data-related expectations within ROMA, and tips and skills to strengthen reporting.
  • A framework to understand Data Capacity, and how to improve your agency’s ability to collect, store, analyze, and effectively use data.
  • An introduction to reasonable and actionable Continuous Quality Improvement, grounded in examples from CAP agencies successfully implementing it

CAP Data Camp is fast-paced and fun! Our learners often leave pleasantly surprised at the experience: they report that the content fits well with what’s in front of them at their agencies, and they appreciate the simplicity and usefulness of the concepts and accompanying resource workbook.
